How to Join NCE

Requirements for joining the Nairobi Coffee Exchange as a buyer: valid AFA licensing, completed registration, and onboarding support ahead of auction participation.

Buyers — NCE requirements

AFA licence

Buyers must hold a valid licence from the Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA) to participate at the NCE trading floor.

Registration

Complete the buyer registration form. NCE will review your application and contact you with any onboarding steps, training, and access to the online trading platform.

After your application is accepted

  • Your account is created in the online trading platform.
  • You will be trained on how to go about the sale of coffee.
  • You will be added to the mailing list to receive weekly Auction reports.

When you are ready, complete the registration form. You will receive a confirmation once your application has been reviewed.
