Who is DSS? Who owns it? Who are the directors?

DSS is a banking facility by a commercial bank regulated by Central Bank of Kenya offering settlement service to a coffee Exchange for settlement of growers coffee sales proceeds next of their liabilities after sale at The Exchange. It is contracted by an exchange after approval by Capital Markets Authority. The current DSS provider is The Co-operative Bank of Kenya.Add answer

Where are the DSS offices?

Capital Markets (Coffee Exchange) Regulation, 2020 FIFTH SCHEDULE (r. 41(2)) PART A —Provides for the CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF DIRECT SETTLEMENT SYSTEM PROVIDER required that the commercial banks appointed to provide the Direct Settlement System Demonstrate the network to reach out to all coffee growing and other areas. Any grower can therefore visit The Nairobi Coffee Exchange office for any assistance on DSS or The branch of Co-operative Bank nearest to them.
